It’s time.
Jean takes a deep breath and carefully places the book she’s kept with her for the past week outside on a table. She couldn’t bear it if she was the reason it was damaged. The Professor had told her to come by today for a lesson, a lesson on making sure she was in control of her powers. It frightened Jean as much as it did relieve her that she may soon be able to wield her powers the same as he did. It wouldn’t happen this lesson, or maybe for a few others after that but today was as good as any day to start.
She knocked four times on his study door, and opened it slightly.
“Professor? It’s Jean.”
